Steadfast Love 

When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.

Psalm 94:18 ESV

Often times in life we feel like where falling. Life has a way of tripping us up often. Stumbling can be hard. It takes strength to pull yourself up again. It takes courage to say yes I've been hit hard by life's blows but I'm far from defeated. Jesus Christ is with me and when I can't stand on my own he will hold me up. 

Oh my friends life can be hard sometimes. It really can. You might feel like you don't have the strength to keep getting back up again. But you do have the strength. It's been with you all along. That strength is Jesus. I can't tell you how many time's I've felt weighed down by life or by my own struggles with anxiety and depression. I've thought that I couldn't possibly continue to carry on. Carry on is exactly what I've done though. You dear one can carry on to because God didn't make you just so you could quite and give up. Your journey is far from over. My journey is far from over. Today if you feel like your slipping remember who catches you. Remember who dusts you of. Remember who's holding onto you so tightly. Remember who collects all of your tears. You might feel so alone right now but your not. Jesus sees you and he loves you. 

Jesus I'm thankful for how you watch over me. You watch over me so well. Your hands are always there ready and willing to lift me up. I don't have to fear falling because you will always catch me. If your slipped today Jesus sees you. He won't leave you stranded on broken ice. He will rescue you from the frozen water. He will hold you as long as you need him to. Let his love give you the strength and comfort that you need to keep going today.
