Wanting it NOW!

Has your inpatient nature gotten the best of you? Have you wanted instant gratification? An instant solution now? Have you forgotten that God isn't a genie in a bottle? Have you grown tired while waiting on the Lord? Have you forgotten that his timing is perfect? That he keeps us in the waiting rooms of life for a specific reason and purpose.

Do You See What I See?

I am coming to realize God and His perspective is different. I started to ask him to give me a healing vision of your provision when life seems impossible. To truly believe he is a way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, light in the darkness. I wanted him to show me how to live above the pressure of this world. It was made noticeably Clear JESUS!! How did he do it?  And I heard him whisper “Child what seems impossible to man is possible to God, so seek me!! You dig in my word on those days when everything looks dark. And then you will see promises fulfilled and hope. Many before us have sat in a waiting room of life.” Waiting, and hope is difficult sometimes, but God tells us to wait and hope and we do this by faith. God has never broken a promise or a provision and has never lost control of his perfect will and plan. See in Hebrews 13:8 it says. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” He was there at creation and he is working and speaking today. Now in Galatians 5:5 it says, “by faith we eagerly wait through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope.” I do not know about you, but I need hope. And I want to encourage and breathe hope into others. There are many stories of this faith and hope throughout the Old and New Testament; stories like Job in the midst of his storm ,Abraham when he traveled to sacrifice Isaac,  Moses when he was in the desert alone living in fear and shame, and of course there's our wonderful perfect example the one who gives us the vision and his Spirit  and his power Jesus!! See we now  live in the new covenant  of Jesus perfect fulfillment of the law. God showed us even in his human nature he struggles in the waiting room of life as the man In the garden of Gethsemane. There he had to hold on to hope with the full vision of what is to come next, he knew heaven was on the other side, he knew healing and freedom, but he also saw the cost and still he chose death so me and you could have life, and the gift of his Spirit so we could live like he lived here on earth in fellowship with the Father. He did this so we could in our Spirit live in full fellowship with the Father in Spirit and in truth. That by his power we too in the midst of dark days overflowing in love, grace and hope. God teaches us through his word that what seems impossible in man's eyes is possible with God it's when he gives us a new perspective it's the vision of his perversion he has full equipped us for everything we will ever need in this faith walk journey called life and that light on our path to help guide us is found through his Word. Like when Jesus rested, went away to pray alone, or was empowered to teach, to make disciples, to heal the sick, cast out devils and set the captives free. People traveled near and far just to get to this man named Jesus. Why because he brought healing, hope and miracles and he spoke, acted in love and spoke truth with grace. He was able to do all this because he walked in will with the father and had  heavenly perspective and guess what we are able to walk in the will of our Father too, even in a seemingly dark world. This may not always feel good or look the way we thought. But if we trust him in faith and hope it will be better than we could have ever dreamed or imagined for his ways, his plans and his purposes are always best. And he will be providing exactly what we need right when we need it most. For he is a timely God of order and understanding.

D's devil likes to dish out Part #5 of 5

Let’s face it; we’ve all dealt with drama. Maybe you’ve gotten caught up in the drama your friends have started. Perhaps your family is pulling you against someone, or maybe you heard co-workers talking badly about another co-worker. Heck, you might have even created drama yourself. Like it or not, drama exists, and it’s a genuine part of our world. How we react and handle the drama is up to us.

D's devil likes to dish out Part #4 of 5

The fourth D the Devil tries to throw at us is discontentment. It’s that feeling of being completely unsatisfied with our lives. It causes us to be depressed or jealous when we see someone having what we want or think we need to be happy. This kind of thinking causes us to believe that the grass is greener on the other side. Let me ask you this though is the grass greener on the other side? Isn’t that grass also full of obstacles and problems, maybe even just as many issues, if not more, than the grass that you left behind? My friends, all grass is full of problems or complications. No grass out there grows without bumps and bruises along the way. I don’t believe that the grass is greener on the other side. Don’t get sucked into these lies. Please don’t buy into them. When you buy into these lies from the Devil, do you know what happens? It can cause us to miss the Lord’s blessings. Accepting discontentment causes disfunction and chaos in all of our circumstances. In the end, it leaves us unhappy with what is going on.

D's devil likes to dish out Part #3 of 5

Discouragement we’ve all felt at one time or another. It’s that feeling of pure and utter disappointment. It’s pressure from trials making us feel weary and tired, like we cannot go on. It’s one of the enemy’s most comprehensive tools against us as believers. To make us wonder if following Him is even worth it? Oh, but my friends, it is worth it! It’s always worth it. You see, despite our lack of confidence or enthusiasm. God can still use us and strengthen us from the inside out. We can’t allow ourselves to get blindsided by the devil’s tactics. The devil likes to use all of his D’s to try and trip us up and destroy us. The devil’s goal is to make us feel overwhelmed and consumed by our situations. His goal is for our hearts to be discouraged. He wants us to lose hope in doing the right thing. He wants us to forget about goodness. He wants us to be lost, broken, depleted, and defeated. A heart without hope becomes sick. Don’t let your heart become sick. Don’t give in to the devil’s cravings. He craves sick hearts. If you let him, he will devour your soul. He wants us overtaken by a feeling of oppression. The oppression that makes us feel like we can’t overcome. The pressure makes us ask ourselves, what is the point or purpose? But oh precious child of God, there is always hope and a purpose. Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the light. He is our hope, and He will lead us and guide us through it all. He will help us all believe in the plans and purpose that God has for each of us.

D's devil likes to dish out Part #2 of 5

The second D that the Devil likes to dish out is Doubt. Do you ever doubt yourself? You know what I’m talking about; it’s that sudden feeling of impending doom or dread that takes over. It’s the silent thief that stops you dead in your tracks. It’s what holds you back from completing many things in life. It’s the voices in your head that tell you that you are not good enough, strong enough, pretty, or handsome enough. The list could go on and on. Doubt is one of the Devil’s most cunning lies, and his lies can hold us back from God’s purpose and plans for our lives. But there is hope, and there is help, and his name is Jesus. John 8:12 Again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life”.  No matter what you face in life, hope is always in Jesus.

D's devil likes to dish out Part #1 of 5

I wake up every day with thoughts of temptation. Like so many people out there, I struggle with thoughts of not being enough, not doing enough, doubting myself, and the calling on my life that God has for me. I have times where I feel discouraged, and sometimes I feel like I’m not going to cut the mustard. But praise be to God! I am an overcomer! I am thankful for every opportunity to be delivered from those thoughts. See, these thoughts are straight from the enemy himself, and these thoughts are from the pits of Hell!
